Since joining Veeam in 2012, he has led the Eastern European systems engineering team, driving strategic initiatives in disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.

Andris has led the company since 1999 (CTO, then CEO of DEAC in 2005). In 2022, he also became CEO of DLC; both merged into Delska in 2024. He holds an IT degree from RTU and previously worked at Riga Water and RTU. From 2011–2021, he was on the board of RadioTV. Under his leadership, Delska is expanding, with a new 10 MW facility in development.

On 15th April, Delska officially opens the doors to EU North Riga LV DC1 data center in Riga. This facility is a critical hub for the Northern European digital economy. Engineered specifically for the demands of the AI era—combining massive high-performance computing (HPC) power with a 100% green energy footprint, it sets a new benchmark for regional infrastructure.
