Delska, a brand initially formed by two regional data center and network operators, Lithuania’s Data Logistics Center (DLC) and Latvia’s DEAC, with over 25 years of experience in the industry, has expanded its data centers portfolio and acquired RackRay.
As informed earlier, in June 2024, Data Logistics Center (DLC) merged with Latvian DEAC to form the new Delska brand. Although both companies continue to operate as separate legal entities, the legal name of UAB "Duomenų logistikos centras" was changed to UAB "DELSKA Lithuania" as of April 25th, 2025.
Last summer, DEAC merged with Lithuanian Duomenų Logistikos Centras (DLC) to form the new Delska brand. Although both companies continue to operate as separate legal entities, the legal name of SIA “Digitālās Ekonomikas Attīstības Centrs” was changed to SIA “DELSKA Latvia” as of April 1st, 2025.
Last week, Delska CEO Andris Gailitis, in a meeting with Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, raised key issues for developing the Latvian data centers industry, including sustainability, energy efficiency and cooperation with heat supply companies. They highlighted the need to adjust regulations and invest in infrastructure to reduce the environmental impact of the heat generated by data centers, which can serve as an energy source, thus promoting sustainable industry development.
On 28 October, Delska celebrated a significant construction milestone—the Topping-out event—for its upcoming Tier III-certified, 10 MW data center in Riga. As one of only 20 LEED-certified buildings in Latvia, the data center will set new standards for green construction and energy efficiency in the Baltic region. The project is planned to be launched in August 2025.
Delska CEO Andris Gailitis highlights the company’s 25-year journey as a leading data centers and network operator in Northern Europe. The CEO emphasizes the recent merger, expansion plans, commitment to sustainability, and innovative IT solutions that empower businesses globally.

On 28 October, Delska celebrated a significant construction milestone—the Topping-out event—for its upcoming Tier III-certified, 10 MW data center in Riga.
The new data center reached its highest point, and the topping-out ceremony was well attended by industry representatives and several dignitaries, incl. the Latvian Speaker of the Parliament, the Minister of Climate and Energy, the Minister of Smart Administration and Regional Development.
By using data center services, companies can focus on their core business instead of maintaining and managing IT infrastructure.
Why is the data center the best option for ensuring business IT continuity?
Extreme weather conditions are becoming more frequent, causing losses & interrupting business operations.
Delska is a joint brand launched in June 2024 by Latvia’s data center operator DEAC and Lithuania’s Data Logistics Center (DLC).
